Behind A Fork on the Road is me, Iris Permuy, a professional English and French into Spanish translator with over 6 years of experience.
More concretely, I hold an MA in Audiovisual Translation and Access Services (subtitling, voice-over, captioning, audio description), and specialize in tourism, gastronomy, and marketing texts too. I also have an MA in Food Journalism, a Certification in Travel Journalism, and a Postgraduate degree in International Culture Management.
My experience and extensive training have afforded me the opportunity to learn a wide range of multicultural and multilingual skills that, due to the freelance nature of my services, I was able to put into practice by visiting over 30 countries through years of combining job and passion.
